Practicum Student Position
The Houston OCD Program is offering practicum student postitions working with OCD/Anxiety Disorders. This position is an unpaid practicum and would involve the student working directly with clients as part of an intensive specialty CBT-focused program that offers a full continuum of care, including residential, intensive outpatient and outpatient treatment. We specialize in treating severe and treatment refractory anxiety disorders, particularly OCD and other comorbid conditions. The student will serve as a residential counselor by working with clients doing exposures and response prevention during the ERP and SDE portions of the treatment day. Other responsibilities include co-leading psycho-educational groups and participating in research activities (especially treatment/program outcome evaluation research).
