We also specialize in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Spectrum Disorders, such as Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Health Anxiety/ Hypochondriasis, Olfactory Reference Syndrome, Tic Disorders (Tourette's Disorder), Trichotillomania, and Compulsive Skin Picking. These disorders are similar to OCD because they involve repetitive behaviors that function to reduce anxiety or tension, much like rituals in OCD.
In addition, we treat co-occurring depression, as individuals who struggle with anxiety or obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders also often have significant depressive symptoms.
