Christen Sistrunk M.A., is a licensed professional counselor-intern (LPC-I) and behavior therapist at the Houston OCD Program. She received a BA in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, and her MA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Her graduate work included broad training in cognitive behavioral therapy, stress and anxiety management, group therapy, and addictions counseling techniques. She gained experience at the University of Houston-Clear Lake’s Psychological Services Clinic, working with a varied population. She completed a graduate practicum at the Houston OCD Program and an undergraduate internship at ESCAPE Family Resource Center. With a strong generalist training, she has been specializing in anxiety disorders for over a year working with all ages, including adolescents and children. She has presented research at several conferences and is a member of several professional organizations that focus on OCD and Anxiety disorders.
