Chelsea Gilts is a doctoral intern at the Houston OCD Program. She received a BA in Psychology from Trinity University, and an MA in Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston. She is currently a clinical psychology doctoral candidate specializing in health psychology, particularly integrative oncology. She has gained experience in providing cognitive-behavioral therapy for the treatment of anxiety and depression in a diverse of treatment settings including a primary care facility, a community mental health center, and veteran affairs medical center.  She has published research findings and presented at several conferences on anxiety management in healthcare settings, behavioral approaches for cancer prevention, and evidence-based treatments for anxiety in aging populations.
